November Update

We are putting the finishing touches on our November newsletter and it should go out in the next couple of days. If we do not have your email address, go to our home page at www.escapetocreate.com and register to become a site member.

We would like to thank all of you who have registered early for our April event. The response has been GREAT! Email your friends and let them know that it's time for a girls' weekend!

If you have a large group and would like to attend our event, please register right away to ensure availability and seating preferences.

We are feeling the economy, too and would like to make it easier for you to attend our events. We will accept payment in full or monthly payments. Balances must be paid by April 1, 2009.

We have decided to offer two classes at our April event with a limited number of spaces available - just 12 people per class! Once you have registered for the weekend event, you can submit an online form for the classes and mail your payment to: Wendy Gross at 931 SW Squire Johns Lane, Palm City, FL 34990. Once your form AND payment have been received, a receipt will be sent to you to confirm your space.

Hello everyone!

With just 10 days before the start of the October retreat and a limited number of spaces available, we have decided to close out the registration for this event on Friday, September 26th...for check payments anyway.

After Friday... if there are any spaces available...you will need to send in a cashier's check, money order or cash to register for this event.

You can register online at our website www.escapetocreate.com , but your space is not confirmed until your payment has been received.

Please let us know right away if you are interested in attending this event. Those last spots should go quickly.

A new day and a new toy...

I finally figured out how to post a slideshow of some of my work, but I don't know how to make it go to the bottom of the page. Hopefully, i'll figure it out soon. Now I need some photos of Diana's work.

Local Packages

We have received so many requests for local packages. Thank you!

Hotel package registration closes August 22nd, and we will officially start local registrations then... with however many spaces are left. However, we are now starting pre-registration for local packages on a first come first served basis. 

Our local package will include ALL of the hotel package items EXCEPT: sleeping rooms & breakfast....EVERYTHING else is included for just $175.00 per person.

If you are interested in pre-registering for our local package, please email us right away to be put on the list.

The event is getting close and space really is limited...

We listened to the guests who attended our last crop and here's what they wanted:

More table space.

We are now giving everyone a 6' table (at no additional cost) and because of this change, we have to limit the number of attendees.  Please don't wait to send in your registration forms (email us at escapetocreate@comcast.net if you need one)....it is first come first served.

Food at the Crop

We wanted to take a minute to tell you about the food included in the package.  

Dinner on Friday night, lunch on Saturday, dinner on Saturday night and lunch on Sunday are served in the restaurant (Sam Snead's). You will choose your meal from a limited restaurant menu and we have to tell you that the food there is AWESOME!

Breakfast Saturday and Sunday is a breakfast bag provided by the hotel at the front desk. It includes muffins, breakfast bar, and your choice of two drinks including juice, sodas and waters.

Questions & Answers

Who is escape to create?

ETC is Diana Yanok and Wendy Gross....two friends who love to scrap at area crops and decided to host our own. 

How do I know this event is legitimate?

We understand that you may have never met Diana or myself and encourage you to call the Hilton Garden Inn to inquire about our group. You won't be able to register with them, but they will be able to put your mind at ease.

How can I get a registration form?

Email us at escapetocreate@comcast.net requesting a registration form.

We can send the registration form via email (word doc or PDF), fax it, or mail it to you.

Will there be an on-site vendor?

We are working on securing a local scrapbook store for the October crop.  

If you are an independent consultant and would like to sell your products at our crop, please email us.

Will there be a page contest?

Yes, there will be a page contest as well as an altering contest. Be sure to bring your favorite work to be judged. Prizes will be awarded!

What tools will be available for use at the crop?

Cricut & Cricut Expression with 12+ cricut cartridges 

(Please bring your own cricut mat to use with our machines - we will have a limited supply of mats on-site for purchase)
